Alex Hargrove

Alex Hargrove holds a Masters Degree in Health & Human Performance from Salisbury University and is a NSCA Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist. He comes to The Club at Gig Harbor having spent 15 years within the sport and performance departments at NCAA Division III powerhouse, Salisbury University, and two years as a Health & Fitness Specialist within the Bethel School District.

During his time at SU, Alex was an All-Region student-athlete with the men’s soccer program, an adjunct professor in the Exercise Science Department, and a member of the men’s soccer coaching staff for 11 seasons, serving his final 5 seasons as head coach.
Outside of his work at SU, Alex was dedicated to serving the youth sports community as well as providing in-home personal training to many players and parents.

Ready for a change and eager to lean into his call to adventure, Alex left the tidal lands of Maryland’s eastern shore for the varied terrain of Western Washington. When he is not at The Club you are likely to find him paddling around Fox Island, biking at Gateway park, or running the trails in Point Defiance. He looks forward to becoming a valued member of the community and building lasting relationships while helping you achieve your health and fitness goals.
